Polyurethane is a subclass of urethane. A two component polyurethane
is created by chemically combining a polyisoyanate and a polyol to
produce and isocyanate that has a two mode cure mechanism of solvent
evaporation.
In water borine acrylic coatings, the resin is disperced in water to
form a water emulsion. Water borine acrylic specified for
atmospheric exposures as a primer or top coat an have excellent
colour and gloss retension.
